The most talked about book of 2018 so far is set to be brought to life on the small screen.

Michael Wolff's explosive book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House details President Donald Trump's first year in the White House based on Wolff’s exclusive access.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Endeavor Content has bought the film and TV rights for a seven-figure deal and at the moment at TV adaptation is looking the most likely. There is currently no network yet attached, but Endeavor will now begin shopping the project.

Wolff is set to executive produce the series, with former Channel 4 and BBC executive Michael Jackson — now CEO of indie producer Two Cities Television — on board to produce.

The White House has dismissed the book as "fiction" with Trump tweeting, "So much Fake News is being reported. They don't even try to get it right, or correct it when they are wrong.

"They promote the Fake Book of a mentally deranged author, who knowingly writes false information. The Mainstream Media is crazed that WE won the election!"

That hasn't stopped people reading it though, with the rights to the book have being sold in 32 countries while it is currently the best-selling book of any genre worldwide.
