'The Great Stand Up To Cancer Bake Off' was well and truly underway last night, with our first four celebrities taking on the pressure of the tent.

Just four months after the regular version, the 'Celebrity Bake Off' edition was underway last night with four familiar faces taking on the delights of the Channel 4 show.

'Star Wars' actor Daisy Ridley, comedian Rob Beckett, 'X-Factor' winner Alexandra Burke, and 'Bake Off Professionals' host Tom Allen all entered the tent with varying levels of baking skills at hand.

First up, the bakers were tasked with making millionaire's shortbread, while the technical challenge of the day was Prue's tricky vegan tarts. The final showstopper was a creation which showed the baker's biggest bugbears.

Eventually, however, it came down to Alexandra Burke clinching the title of Star Baker, which was well-deserved. She won the technical, and didn't fare too badly on the showstopper.

Unfortunately for poor Daisy Ridley, the force was not strong this time, and she ended up placing in fourth place. She did get to show off her rolling pin lightsaber skills within the first five minutes though.

Here's a rundown of some of the best reaction the return of 'Celebrity Bake Off' received from viewers last night. Daisy Ridley was overwhelmingly the favourite of the night.

Be sure to tune into Channel 4 next Tuesday when James McAvoy, Anne Marie, David Baddiel, and Dame Kelly Holmes will me making a hames of the tent.

The X-Men and Last King of Scotland star is already setting heart a-flutter ahead of his appearance.
