If you were thinking to yourself why it was taking so long for 'Catastrophe' to return to your screens, worry no longer.

Rob Delaney confirmed the news this evening on Twitter, announcing that the third season of the acclaimed sitcom will arrive on Channel 4 in January. Here's the tweet, just in case you think we're joshing.

Sharon Horgan previously confirmed that the upcoming fourth season will be its last, saying that "(sometimes) I feel like it’s a good idea to quit while you’re ahead, I mean, we might not be ahead by the end of this season. It might go horribly wrong! The stories came to us really easily and we enjoyed writing it, I suppose we didn’t want to push that. We didn’t want to force stories."

No specific date in January has been set for 'Catastrophe', but here's hoping it'll be sooner rather than later because we all need our fix and if this is going to be the last season, we need it now more than ever.
