Some of the stars of Pawnee's city council are gearing up for yet another reunion special later this week.
No this isn't some dream that you've created, because the cast of 'Parks and Rec' are reuniting once again in the hopes of raising awareness for the upcoming US election. We can already imagine how much in her element Leslie Knope will be while handling this special political event. Just how many binders do you reckon she has on the go in anticipation?
Joining Amy Poehler's Knope will be Aubrey Plaza's April Ludgate, Nick Offerman's Ron Swanson, Adam Scott's Ben Wyatt, Retta's Donna Meagle, Jim O'Heir's Jerry/Terry/Larry Gergich, and one of the creators of the series, Michael Schur.
The special "town hall" event is in aid of benefiting the Democratic Party of Wisconsin. 2020 Presidential candidate Joe Biden is lined up to take on Conservative Party leader, and current US President, Donald Trump in a race to be crowned the 46th President (or still remain on 45th, should Trump win). In order to view the 'Parks and Rec' virtual event, which will be live-streamed this Thursday, users must donate towards the political party to get access.
One of the star's of the series, Aubrey Plaza, shared the news on her social media while also promising special guests who are set to appear among the line-up (finger's crossed for Ann, Chris, Andy, Tom, and Tammy II to make a special appearance).
This isn't the first time that celebrities have backed Joe Biden's 2020 Presidential campaign. Recently, 'Veep' and 'Seinfeld' star Julia Louis-Dreyfus hosted an evening of fund-raising where she highlighted all of the good that Democratic choice has done in the past while dragging Donald Trump in everything he had done.
