It was a gripping finale for the conclusion of the first 'Winter Love Island' series last night. It was also a bittersweet one as the episode was dedicated to Caroline Flack.
Last week, a tribute to Caroline Flack also aired on the reality series, which Iain Stirling narrated.
Last night's was more extensive and featured footage of the former 'Love Island' host.
Laura Whitmore, who was a friend and colleague of Flack's, introduced the tribute tearfully.

Can we just stop for a minute and take a moment for these two incredible people. I know so many people knew Caroline, but for these two to carry on with the show ( along with the producers) after they had just lost their best friend. Hats off to them both 💕 #loveisland pic.twitter.com/vdiaiQ8OYd
