You may remember that Bruce Willis recently made an appearance on BBC's The One Show, to promote his new film A Good Day to Die Hard. Sure there he is and all, smiling with Matt and Alex. Well, sadly, he wasn't smiling too lucidly on air. Indeed the only thing dying that day was the interview, and now even Brucie has admitted it himself.

Speaking to radio station XFM, Willis claimed he was jet-lagged and it made him appear rather boring on air. Y'don't say Bruce, it was a rather painful viewing experience if I do say so myself. Alex Jones looked bored out of her tree while Matt Baker snapped at the actor's heels like an overexcited puppy. If he wasn't the most adorable Blue Peter presenter of all time I'd have to be rather mean about it. Then again, he did keep talking about the end of the film so perhaps a few poisonous words aren't exactly unwarranted.

"I have to apologise," Willis said. "I didn't get very many compliments about it. They said he was a little stale. But I was so jet-lagged. I'm very sorry, you kids on The One Show. I'm sure it's not their problem. I was a little bit boring, I think. I had a little sinking spell, that's all."

In fairness, we think we'd be  a little bored ourselves if yet another TV show insisted on taking us back through every single moment of our entire career. But hey, at least they didn't try to talk about Demi, right?

Catch part 2 of the interview right here, if you dare.
