The eighth season of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' commenced production this week.

The upcoming season will comprise of ten episodes. It is reported to be the very last season of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' *sniffs*

Cameras began rolling last Tuesday.

Production was very much delayed by, as with all things, the pandemic.

The episodes will broadcast as part of the 2021-22 broadcast-TV season.

Melissa Fumero, who plays Amy Santiago, Jake Peralta's other half, was among the first to share a behind-the-scenes look at the shoot.

Taking to social media, she wrote: "Ba ba ba back in the Nine Nine!!!

"Yesterday, I was so excited to be back at work, I forgot to take a pic to commemorate the occasion, so here’s a Day 2 pic!"

In the image she can be seen with fellow cast members Terry Crews and Andre Braugher, who plays Captain Raymond Holt.

Their co-star Stephanie Beatriz, who plays Rosa Diaz, shared a selfie from Shaw's Bar. She was of course donned in Diaz's signature black leather jacket.

Joe Lo Truglio shared footage of his transformation into Charles Boyle. He also shared a BTS look at the Universal Studios lot where season 8 is shooting.

Joel McKinnon Miller (Scully) shared a video from the make-up chair.

DP for 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Rick Page, also shared some pictures with the cast members.
