The beloved and brilliant cop comedy series that is 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' is coming to an end.
The next season of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' - its eighth - will be its last.
It's appropriate then that the trailer for the upcoming season is titled "One Last Ride."
All your favourites are back including Charles (Joe Lo Truglia) and Jake (Andy Samberg), who wish each other a funny and emotional farewell in the trailer.
Elsewhere the brilliant captain of 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine', Holt (Andre Braugher), tells a horrified Rosa (Stephanie Beatriz) that he "seems[s] to have sent a digital phallus portrait."
Jake and Amy (Melissa Fumero) get flustered over childcare.
It also looks like other regulars who are returning include Pimento (Jason Mantzoukas), the Pontiac Bandit (Craig Robinson), and even Gina (Chelsea Peretti).
'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' season 8 will consist of 10 episodes.
The episodes are reported to be incorporating the COVID-19 pandemic and will address the issue of police brutality, in the wake of the killing of George Floyd last year.
They start airing on NBC on August 12th. Its Irish broadcast is TBC.
