Leading the Irish charge in this year's TV BAFTAs are Brendan O'Carroll for his performance in Mrs. Brown's Boys Christmas Special and Stephen Rea for his supporting role in The Honourable Woman, while Graham Norton is also up for a BAFTA for 'Entertainment Performance' in The Graham Norton Show.

Other nominess include acclaimed BBC drama The Missing with James Nesbitt up for leading actor, while ITV's Cilla also managed to grab a few nominations, with lead actress Sheridan Smith deservedly receiving a nomination following her National Television Awards win this year.

The soaps/continuing drama category will see Casualty and Hollyoaks battle it out with Corrie and EastEnders, while international nods went to Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, The Good Wife and True Detective, with Game of Thrones making it into the Radio Times Audience Award nominations.
