Cilla Black is set to return for a one off Blind Date special which will see her reunite some of the previous contestants.

The hit TV show, which ran on Saturday nights for nearly 20 years, will feature as part of a programme which will celebrate Black's contribution to show business over the last 50 years. 'The One and Only Cilla Black', to be hosted by Paul O'Grady, and will see Cilla return to her hometown of Liverpool. Barbara Windsor and Christopher Biggins are also set to appear on the show. Cilla said about the show 'I can't believe its been 50 years since I started this incredible journey. I've made some wonderful friends over the years and experienced some magical moments. I'm thrilled to be back at ITV to celebrate these in a special one off entertainment show.'

But what we are most excited for is the return of Blind Date. The show will take a trip down memory lane bringing back the more unforgettable contestants. While the poor unfortunate ones that have still not found love will get the chance to relive it all again by getting the opportunity to win another date. A source said 'Blind Date' was renowned for some of its  out there contestants. It will be great to see what some of the most memorable ones are up to now. And for those who are still single, Cilla will play the dating game one more time. Who knows, this time they might actually find love!' We wonder will Amanda Holden return.
