Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Mark Wahlberg may have shot Michael Bay's upcoming film Pain and Gain quite a while ago, but it appears the two have some unfinished business, that they're about to sort out on the telly.

Y'see, Mark's executive producing a brand new half-hour comedy drama for HBO (with his old Entourage pal Stephen Levinson), and Dwayne's lined up to star in the show's pilot. Word on the street is that the show follows a team of retired Miami athletes. Hmm, are we sensing a bit of Pain and Gain here?

Anyway, it seems the project will be helmed by Peter Berg (of Friday Night Lights and Battleship fame), and shooting will begin later this year. If the show gets the green light, it will mark Dwayne's first big telly role since, y'know, the wrestling days and that.

We'll keep you updated on this one, but if you fancy catching him on the big screen in the meantime, be sure to enter our competition to win tickets to the Irish premiere of Fast and Furious 6 right here.
