God be with the days when we were all just happy out looking at some folk in a fancy gaff playing Truth or Dare, now reality shows are constantly pushing and pushing the boundary to the point of ridiculousness. This new show planned for the BBC will trap eight contestants inside a shopping centre with the walking dead surrounding it. Yep, this is really happening.

The BBC3 show has been commissioned for seven hour long episodes in a horror/game show to be called I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse. Deadline has said that; "The contestants must live by their wits, make difficult decisions, and use urban survival tactics to avoid the lethal bite of a zombie. 'The Army' is on its way, but the threat will be constant as once a player is bitten, they will leave the show in 'grisly style'."

Executive producers Andrew Brereton quipped, “It’s nice to finally have a game show where if you get a challenge wrong, you get your arms ripped off and your brains eaten out.”

Isn't it though?

It's not known as of yet when I Survived a Zombie Apocalypse will be broadcast but we expect people will be dying to take part. (Sorry, couldn't resist).
