For those of you who grew up in the '90s, Batman: The Animated Series would undoubtedly have had a huge impact on you.

By far, it was the strongest adaptation of the character before Christopher Nolan's take and considering it was out during the time of Joel Schumacher's take on the character, it just shows how against the grain it was. In fact, Schumacher's Batman was more of a cartoon than this was.

At this weekend's New York Comic Con, Warner Bros. announced that the entire series is finally coming to glorious, 1080P Blu-Ray in the new year. While it's obviously going to take in every episode of the series, there's no word if Mask Of The Phantasm or Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero will be included in the package.

Details were light on when precisely it'll arrive in 2018, but needless to say, it's pretty damn exciting. Just imagine seeing this on a 50-inch screen with crystal-clear sound.
