Holly Willoughby may have played a blinder stepping in for Ant McPartlin on the recent series of 'I'm A Celebrity' but Ant will be back where he belongs alongside Declan Donnelly in the New Year.
Ant will be returning to work in January 2019 following his struggle with addiction which led to a car accident earlier in the year that caused him to be fined £86,000 and banned from driving for 20 months. Ant pleaded guilty to being twice the legal drink drive limit.
The Sun has revealed that 43-year-old Ant will return to host 'Britain’s Got Talent' auditions in the new year and will be back hosting the live shows too alongside Donnelly.
A source told The Star: "Ant has completed his recovery and ITV has decided he is ready to be back at work for 'Britain’s Got Talent' filming, which starts next month.
"It’s been an incredible difficult two-year period but he has been entirely focused on turning his life around in order to return to work.
"ITV is very excited about Ant and Dec being reunited – but Ant’s recovery has been everyone’s first priority."
It will be 2020 before we get to see the pair back hosting 'Saturday Night Takeaway' as next year's season was cancelled because filming would have needed to begin in 2018.
