These soap stars wha'? Seems there's always one of them causing a raucous somewhere, this time round it's EastEnders Khali Best, who has played mechanic Dexter Hartman on the soap since last August.

The actor has been suspended from the soap for three months according to The Star as he has breached the soap's code of conduct. It hasn't been outlined specifically what for yet, but his behaviour outside work has angered bosses no end with a show insider saying; "Khali is in a very privileged position that many young actors can only dream of. His behaviour lately has not been to a standard the BBC expects of its EastEnders cast."

"We won't go into details but his conduct outside of work has not been good at all and is a threat to the show. Khali has been fined in the past for not turning up to work on time and his behaviour has worsened recently, so much so that Dominic [the producer] thought enough was enough."

"He knew he had to be tough on Khali to send out a clear message to both him and the rest of the cast that they have a duty as an EastEnders employee to behave in a certain way."

"Dominic felt a three-month suspension was the right punishment and hopefully Khali will come back to work with a better attitude."

"If he doesn't then he may well find that his future on the show is short."

Luckily the star isn't really involved in any major storylines at the moment (unless you count flirting with Nancy Carter) so his suspension won't effect filming. He did manage to scoop the Best Newcomer gong at the National Television Awards this year though, so he really would want to get his act together, as your mammy might say.

It comes not too long after actor Ricky Norwood (Fatboy) was suspended for three months after a rather inappropriate online video was exposed.

Seriously, will they ever learn?
