If you watched 'Love Island' til the bitter end last night, you may have seen an ad for the American version of the show.

Yes, that's right -  the first season of 'Love Island USA' coming 'soon' to Virgin Media Two.

The show has already started in the US, and yesterday saw an Irish guy enter the villa (which on 'Love Island USA', is in Fiji).

Cormac Murphy is from Ennis, Co. Clare but has been living in New York for the past three years. He works as a model and in events and promotions in The Big Apple.

He was thrown into the villa after declaring: "If I went to college I’d have a degree in women, I don’t think they know what’s coming, I’m going to turn some heads, I’m here on Love Island and I’m ready for love."

Right, so.

Now that Maura has set the bar for Irish contestants on reality TV shows, Cormac has a lot to live up to - but we'll wait to see the series to reserve judgement.
