The BBC has announced the final celebrity who will be joining the cast of their 'Cinderella' Christmas special for Children in Need - and sure it's only our finest Kildare comic.

'Cinderella: A Comic Relief Pantomime For Christmas' promises to be a magical event to tune into on Christmas Eve on BBC Two. Starring the likes of Olivia Colman, Helena Bonham Carter and Anya Taylor-Joy, the star-studded cast will also be joined by Kildare comedian Aisling Bea.

The retelling of the panto classic will see 12 stars play the main roles of this stay at home special, with a literal shed load of cameo appearances expected to brighten up our TV screens.

The main cast will be made up of Olivia Colman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Helena Bonham Carter, Tom Hollander, Tom Davis, David Walliams, Guz Khan, Regé-Jean Page, Jimmy Akingbola, and Daisy May and Charlie Cooper from 'This Country' as the evil stepsisters.

There will also be a number of musical guests popping up, such as Sam Smith, James Blunt and Leona Lewis, with cameo appearances from David Tennant, Rosie Jones, Alan Sugar, Claire Foy, Mo Farrah and Hugh Bonneville.

Aisling Bea was announced as a late addition to the show, playing the role of Mrs Snitch.

'Cinderella: A Comic Relief Pantomime for Christmas' will be broadcast on BBC Two on Thursday, December 24 at 8.15 pm.
