We approve, but Yang would have been better.

As any Shonda Rhimes fan knows, actors that are being written off her most iconic show are probably going to die. Then again, sometimes they don’t, as evidenced from the last season finale of the show which saw actress Jerrika Hinton depart with her character Stephanie Edwards deciding to leave the medical profession.

Another character that left Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital alive was Dr. Teddy Altman, played by Kim Raver, who was the former head of cardio at the hospital. The character was a mentor to Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh) and close friend of Owen Hunt.

At the end of the last season, Owen learned that his sister who was presumed dead, has been found alive after being a POW for years.

There’s no word on exactly how many episode Raver, who now stars on the show Ray Donovan, will feature in but she will have a guest arc on the upcoming 14th season. Teddy formerly had a crush on Owen and with his marriage to Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) being so shaky, there’s sure to be some drama.
