The new series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' is set to kick off with its launch show tomorrow, but there'll be one less contestant in the mix when the show actually begins proper.

'Made in Chelsea' star Jamie Laing injured his foot during rehearsal and it had been rumoured in recent days that he may have to quit the show.

That was confirmed by producers last night, who released a statement saying that he would feature on the pre-recorded launch show, but not the full series. "We are so sad that Jamie won't be able to take part in the series, he had already lit up the ballroom during the launch show with his boundless energy and enthusiasm," said Executive Producer Sarah James. "We all wish him a full and speedy recovery."

Laing himself said that he was 'devastated' not to be taking part, while several of his fellow contestants sympathised with him...

It's not yet who will replace him; names being thrown around include Scarlett Moffat, Sam Allardyce and even our own Vogue Williams - but watch this space for more news as we have it.

'Strictly Come Dancing' begins at 7.10pm on BBC One tomorrow.
