Initially, we weren't sure how we felt about another season of 'Big Little Lies', the first was just so good there really felt like no need for more. However now that we have the likes of Meryl Streep on board along with all the rest of the fantastic cast returning, well, how could you not be excited?
Here's what you should know about season 2 of 'Big Little Lies' so far:
1. Meryl!
Yep Meryl Streep joins the cast as Perry's (Alexander Skarsgård) mother Mary Louise Wright. She arrives in Monterey looking for answers over his son's death, which eh, yeah, are not ones she will want to hear.
2. New director
Jean-Marc Vallée will sadly not be returning as director for season 2. He will be replaced by Andrea Arnold, who previously directed episodes of 'Transparent' and 'I Love Dick'.
3. Everyone is coming back
Yep, all the gang are getting back together with Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Zoë Kravitz and Laura Dern all reprising their roles, as well as Adam Scott.

4. Other folk joining the cast
Bonnie's parents are set to join up this series, and no, it's unfortunately not Zoe Kravitz’s real-life parents Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet. It will however be Martin Donovan ('Weeds') and newcomer Crystal Fox who will play Martin and Elizabeth Howard
There's also a new surfer dude joining the cast, with Douglas Smith joining the show to play Corey Brockfield ('The Alienist'), a co-worker of Shailene Woodley.

5. It's looking likely that season 2 will air in June
Speaking on CNN’s 'New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen', Nicole Kidman said "It’s looking like June. I think June."
Summer 2019 can't come fast enough!
