This is the way. The way to get more of Disney+'s hit TV series in our hands.

In what feels like forever, we've been waiting patiently for the arrival of season two of the Disney+ series on our screens. Due to hit the streaming service later this year (all going to plan), in the meantime we can look forward to the newly announced releases of 'The Mandalorian' books and comics to tide us over.

Lucasfilm Press has revealed that new publishing works aimed at fleshing out the characters from the 'Star Wars' spin-off series are on the way for all ages. There are some new fiction and non-fiction works, including a lovely looking visual book entitled 'The Art of The Mandalorian (Season One)' by Phil Szostak with a brand new cover illustrated by Doug Chiang (which you can view here).

The other titles announced (most of which don't yet have full titles) are 'The Mandalorian: Original Novel' by Adam Christopher, 'The Mandalorian: The Ultimate Visual Guide' by Pablo Hidalgo, 'The Mandalorian: Allies & Enemies' by Brooke Vitale, 'The Mandalorian: 8×8 Storybook' by Brooke Vital, and 'The Mandalorian: Junior Novelization' by Joe Schreiber. So now you can get your little ones and young adults into the 'Star Wars' series by stocking them up on 'The Mandalorian' books.

These titles will be arriving on shelves later this year around the same time 'The Mandalorian' season two is set to arrive on Disney+. Thankfully, the follow-up instalment is still on track to arrive in October, despite work in the TV and film industry being forced to shut down in recent months.

Creator Jon Favreau is also already busy working away on season three, and there's been rumours of a fan-favourite character who is about to appear in the upcoming season.
