Much like Ryan Reynolds made the move to Netflix, Mark Walberg is following suit. Reynolds did it with Michael Bay action romp '6 Underground'. Wahlberg's Netflix movie is 'Spenser Confidential'.

The flick sees Mark Wahlberg play the titular ex-felon-turned-detective Spenser (that's one name, folks).

Aside from Wahlberg, the film boasts quite a cast. There's Winston Duke ('Us', 'Black Panther'), Alan Arkin ('Little Miss Sunshine') and comedian Iliza Shlesinger. Bokeem Woodbine from 'Fargo' season 2 co-stars, as does the singer Cassie and, most randomly of all, Post Malone.

'Spenser Confidential' marks the fifth collaboration between Wahlberg and director Peter Berg. They previously made 'Lone Survivor', 'Deepwater Horizon', 'Patriots Day', and dear-God-please-make-it-stop 'Mile 22'.

The Netflix synopsis for the movie reads:

"Spenser (Mark Wahlberg) — an ex-cop better known for making trouble than solving it — just got out of prison and is leaving Boston for good. But first he gets roped into helping his old boxing coach and mentor, Henry (Alan Arkin), with a promising amateur - that's Hawk (Winston Duke), a brash, no-nonsense MMA fighter convinced he'll be a tougher opponent than Spenser ever was. When two of Spenser’s former colleagues turn up murdered, he recruits Hawk and his foul-mouthed ex-girlfriend, Cissy (Iliza Shlesinger), to help him investigate and bring the culprits to justice."
