Although Disney now has control over the IP of 'X-Men', there's been no word yet on whether or not they'll feature in any upcoming movies or TV series.
However, that hasn't stopped the creators and producers of arguably the best on-screen adaptation of the characters from pitching a potential reboot to the powers that be at Disney.
In a recent interview, one of the show's creators and producers - Larry Houston - confirmed that there's been "conversations" with Disney regarding a potential reboot. "We've made conversation and it's up to them to make the decision, but we've let them know that we're all available for whatever they want to do in the future," Houston said.

The series ran from 1992 to 1997, and was the subject of renewed interest when it was added to the library of Disney+ from launch. In fact, the series was in part responsible for the live-action movies that followed, as the series proved to be hugely popular with audiences.
Houston said in the past that he is keen to pick up where the original series left off. The final episode of the series saw Magneto halt his genocidal attack on the human race at the last moment after Professor X was wounded by an anti-mutant politician. The series ended with Professor X being taken away to an alien world to recuperate, as the X-Men are left without a leader and with Magneto poised and ready to wipe out humanity and install mutant supremacy across the world.
As cliffhangers go, it's a pretty good one to leave a show on and the perfect place to pick it up from. Here's hoping Disney takes them up on the offer.
