A number of first look images have been released for 'Never Have I Ever' season 2. Not only that but an exciting addition to the cast has been announced.
Common, whose movie credits include 'Selma', 'John Wick 2', and 'Wanted', has landed a recurring role in 'Never Have I Ever'.
He'll be playing love interest to Nalini Vishwakumar (Poorna Jagannathan), who is Devi's (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan) mum.
Common's character is Dr. Chris Jackson, a suave and debonair dermatologist who works in Nalini’s building.
All are impressed by his celeb clients and high-end practice, except for Nalini.
'Never Have I Ever' revolves around the life of modern-day first-generation Indian American teenager Devi.
She tries to navigate the trials of home life, school, romance, and first times.
The season one finale saw her and former rival Ben Gross (Jaren Lewison) kiss.
However, at the same time, her massive crush on jock Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet) finally came requited as he left her a voice message expressing his true feelings.
The first look images for season 2 indicate that Devi definitely feels torn between both Ben and Paxton.
We also got a first look at Common in character, who if we do say so ourselves, is looking fiiiiine.
'Never Have I Ever' season 2 has yet to get an exact release date on Netflix, but according to Instagram, we can expect it around July.
