Season three of 'The Boys' is mid-way through filming right now, and the celebratory moment was captured by some of the stars of the R-rated show.
Karl Urban decided to share a charming photo from the set of 'The Boys' season three this week, with a couple of his co-stars getting in on the action.
As you can see below, Karl is joined by his season one and two colleague Jack Quaid for the photo op, with the third person being the new face on the block, Jensen Ackles.
While drinking a can of Corona and the other two flipping off the camera, Karl Urban captioned 'The Boys' post with: "Celebrating the arrival of the most excellent Jensen Ackles aka Soldier Boy & the halfway point of shooting season 3 of 'The Boys'.
"We’re having such a blast This season is next level diabolical! Can’t wait for you all to see it on Amazon Prime Kxo."
Jack Quaid also shared a photo with Jensen earlier in the week, captioning the photo with "Hey new guy... Stop yelling at me!" while the pair appeared open-mouthed and excited about their season three experience.
As you can tell, filming is well underway on the third season of the superhero comedy/drama/gore-fest, which is expected to arrive on Amazon Prime either later this year or in early 2022.
Jensen is the newest star to join the production, and he's been lined up to play new Vought recruit Soldier Boy. Season two of the series established a larger fan base, thanks to the stellar cast and outlandish happenings throughout, from series creator Eric Kripke.
Season three is expected up up the ante even more, with the series apparently adapting a very risqué plotline from the comics by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, entitled 'Herogasm'.
With only half of the season filmed thus far, expect Karl Urban, Jensen Ackles and the rest of 'The Boys' to provide us with updates like this over the coming months.
