The Hulu series from the stand-up comedian gets a first-look trailer.

'Life & Beth' will star Amy Schumer as a woman looking for a change in her life. Going through a rough break-up, Beth decides that an extended time away from the city will do her a world of good.

The 10-episode dramedy is written, directed, and executive-produced by Schumer, who has been known for helming other romcoms and comedies in the past such as 'I Feel Pretty', 'Trainwreck' and 'Snatched'. She also had a rather popular sketch show 'Inside Amy Schumer', which ran for four seasons.

Joining Schumer for 'Life & Beth' will be Michael Cera ('Super Bad'), who plays a potential new love interest, John. Michael Rapaport ('Atypical'), Susannah Flood ('Chicago Fire'), Kevin Kane ('Bonding'), Yamaneika Saunders ('Funny Girls') and Laura Benanti ('Gossip Girl 2021') also star.

Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer welcomed their first child in May 2019, named Gene. Currently taking a break from her podcast '3 Girls, 1 Keith', the comic was recently added to the cast of 'Only Murders In The Building' season two alongside Shirley MacLaine.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows: 'Life & Beth' tells the story of Beth, a woman whose life would look pretty great on paper. Impressive to everyone she grew up with, she makes a good living as a wine distributor, she’s in a long-term relationship with a successful guy and lives in Manhattan. When a sudden incident forces Beth to engage with her past, her life changes forever. Through flashbacks to her teen self, Beth starts to learn how she became who she is and who she wants to become. We’ll go on her journey towards building a bigger, bolder and more authentic life, learning to express herself and living in an intentional way. A trip down memory lane is a strong source of trauma, comedy and moving forward.

'Life & Beth' will premiere on Disney+ later this spring.
