The emotional stakes were high for the first season of hit Netflix series 13 Reasons Why and it looks like the next season is going to be heart-breaking as well.
Its official synopsis reads: “13 Reasons Why Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of Hannah's death and the start of our characters' complicated journeys toward healing and recovery. Liberty High prepares to go on trial, but someone will stop at nothing to keep the truth surrounding Hannah's death concealed. A series of ominous polaroids lead Clay and his classmates to uncover a sickening secret and a conspiracy to cover it up.”
The first look images give insight into what's in store for characters Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette), Jessica Davis (Alisha Boe), Bryce Walker (Justin Prentince), Olivia Baker (Kate Walsh), Tony Padilla (Christian Navarro) and new addition Caleb (RJ Brown).
Season 2 premieres Friday, May 18th on Netflix. The streaming service has introduced a number of resources to accompany the show including a custom video and website.
