Netflix has released its first look at Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, in the upcoming third season of 'The Crown'.
Menzies replaces Matt Smith in the role as the whole cast is getting an overhaul for the third season as we move into later decades in Queen Elizabeth's reign.
The image below shows him all decked out in his garb standing at a window in Buckingham Palace.
It follows images of The Queen, Princess Margaret and Lord Snowdon also released recently, with Olivia Colman taking over as the monarch, Helena Bonham Carter play Princess Margaret and Ben Daniels steps into the role of her husband Snowdon.
Other new cast members include rising British star Josh O’Connor who will play a young Prince Charles and Marion Bailey as Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
Season 3 is expected to premiere in 2019 and will pick up roughly where the second season ended, covering the period of 1964 through the early 1970s.
