Fans of 'The Handmaid's Tale' got their first look at season 4 when a teaser trailer dropped for it a month ago. Now the official trailer is here with even more footage to have viewers squealing in anticipation, and panicking over the fates of its characters.
It looks like all 'The Handmaid's Tale regulars will be back for the fourth season as June's (Elisabeth Moss) fight for freedom against Gilead grows ever more intense.
"She's become public enemy number one in Gilead," says her friend Moira (Samira Wiley) in despair. "She 's not going to last a week."
'The Handmaid's Tale' season 3 finale saw June set 52 of the children of the totalitarian state free. Now the reverberations of her actions are being felt.
Some seem to be giving up on June at this stage. Others refuse to.
Still others may be determined to have revenge ("Find her, and bring her to me," says a battered Aunt Lydia [Ann Dowd]).
Fred (Joseph Fiennes), Serena (Yvonne Strahovski), Janine (Madeline Brewer), Luke (O. T. Fagbenle), Nick (Max Minghella) and Joseph (Bradley Whitford) are all also back.
