Host Ryan Tubridy has dropped some exciting details about what we can expect from this year's 'Toy Show'.
We reckon if 'The Late Late Toy Show 2020' was called off this winter, there would be riots breaking out across the country. And we'd probably be right there with you (socially distanced and face masks at the ready of course). The most important nugget of information that we can take away from Ryan Tubridy this morning is that the show is thankfully still going ahead as planned.
Speaking during his RTE Radio 1 breakfast show this morning, Ryan told his listeners: "I've got some really good news for you.
"'The Toy Show 2020', it's happening. It's going to be arguably the most remarkable 'Toy Show' we have ever put together.
"I was talking to some people who are critical to the programme itself, and I was so blown away by their ideas, and their passion and their sense of mission. It's arguably going to be the most important 'Toy Show I have done', and by 'I', I mean 'we'."
Last year's 'Toy Show' saw Ryan and his team create a 'Frozen'-themed set, with the host even managing to dress up in an ill-fitted Olaf suit for the opening musical number. We reckon with much of the country still remaining closed, including some cinemas, that the show will be going back to basics this year. And will there be a studio audience? We'll have to wait and see on that one...
