You probably don't need me to tell you at this stage, but this is the movie adaptation of our own Cecelia Ahern's first best-selling novel, and yes, it's a bit of a cheese fest but it's got a lot of heart. Hilary Swank stars as the widowed Holly, whose whole world is torn apart following the death of her husband Gerry (Gerard Butler). However, on her birthday, she receives a letter he wrote to her just before he died, encouraging her to live life to the full rather than wallow in sorrow. This is just the first in a series of messages, each one sending her on wild misadventures and helping her to move on. One such adventure even includes a trip to Ireland! Yes, be warned, accent butchering galore.
