Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn't play at this summer World Cup in Brazil after they lost to Portugal in the qualification playoffs, but thanks to a generous donation on his behalf, Sweden's Intellectually Disabled side can now afford to travel to their own World Cup.

When the side were struggling to raise funds to finance the trip, coach Stefan Jonsson asked the PSG star for a jersey to auction. But according to Jonsson, Ibrahimovic went a step further than that.

Speaking to Swedish paper, Dagans Nyheter, Jonsson claimed, "He(Zlatan) said, 'What the hell are you going to do with a jersey? What does it cost to go?' When we said that we needed SEK 350,000, he asked for the account number and transferred the money".

In case you were wondering, that comes to €38,000, but Ibrahimovic was more than happy to help, telling the Swedish national team's website, "Football should be played by anyone, regardless of gender, disability or not. And when we missed the World Cup, I was very disappointed. I said to myself that I wanted to do everything in my power to help them experience the World Cup. There was nothing to think about, it was given".

A gracious gesture from Sweden's premier footballer. Can he do any wrong?
