In one of the most bizarre stories we've read in some time, several YouTube users managed to disguise hardcore porn on YouTube by giving them Irish titles.

The titles were written as Gaelige and made no attempt to hide their purpose, except for changing the header image to a non-descript one.

The issue was highlighted by Irish language website Tuairisc who noticed the films when a colleague was attempting to search for Irish-language films on YouTube.

At least twenty films were detected and have now been removed, thanks to YouTube's Community Standards team.

According to YouTube, four accounts were opened on the same day and each account uploaded a pornographic film with an Irish title, effectively disguising it from the average user.

As per YouTube's guidelines, sexually explicit material is not allowed on the site and is removed almost immediately.

The videos in question have since been removed from YouTube.
