One of the most exciting and unpredictable footballers to ever grace a pitch wants you to stay in his gaff at the World Cup.

Ronaldinho didn't make Brazil's squad for the World Cup, but that doesn't mean that you can't still soak in some of the aura of the legend himself if you're lucky enough to be heading along to see the tournament first hand. How, you ask? Well, the former Barça man is putting his five-bedroom Rio de Janeiro mansion up for rent for the summer, and you can stay there.

Obviously, it's not the cheapest spot on popular accommodation website Air BnB, as it would set you back R$34,361 a day, which works out at around €11,331. The house is about 1000m2, and has six bathrooms as well as a swimming pool, so it's a pretty decent place, but perhaps a tad outside our price range.

Ronaldinho himself won't be in the house for the two weeks that it's on offer though, so don't expect to wake up in the morning and find the man who was once crowned World Player of the Year cooking you up some bacon and eggs.

The home also boasts a tree-house in the back for the kids to play in, a small stage for a bit of a jam (although they do ask that you be considerate of the neighbours) and a "zen room", where you can feast your eyes on the trophies of one of the most decorated players in the game.

Just in case people thought it was too good to be true or that it was all a joke, the star even tweeted it from his account to let people know it was the real deal.

Any donations to help the Man Cave watch the World Cup in style will be gratefully accepted.
