The University of Baltimore is now offering that focuses on Marvel's cinematic universe, beginning with the first Iron Man movie by Jon Favreau, all the way up to Guardians of the Galaxy and the upcoming Age of Ultron.

According to class instructor Arnold Blumberg, the class will explore the consistent tone of the Marvel brand, how it helped mainstream audiences to accept science fiction and superheroes and how the Marvel universe impacts on a generation's understanding of race, morality, gender issues and much more.

- Tesla / SpaceX CEO Elon Musk cameod in Iron Man 2 and even allowed Jon Favreau to film certain scenes in his factory in California.

- Lou Ferrigno voiced The Incredible Hulk in The Avengers.

- Schwarma sales increased substantially following the release of The Avengers.

- H. Jon Benjamin, better known as the voice of Sterling Archer, was considered to voice Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy.
