It's been a crazy year for the X Factor. Firstly, Danni has been off on maternity leave and now, Cheryl is in hospital with malaria and won't be back until the live shows. Guest judges like Katy Perry and Nicole Scherzinger were drafted in to help Louis and Simon find the next big thing. Now, according to X Factor bosses, they have scrapped having an audience at the boot camp stage.
A rep for the show has said: "Due to the unusual circumstances, we are changing the format of Boot Camp slightly this year and we will not be inviting an audience to watch the contestants being put through their paces." That's just not going to be half as much fun.
