A shop down under has started charging customers, and potential customers and browsers, a $5 entry fee for 'just looking', which they refund if you purchase something. Bonkers, no?

Well the reasoning behind Celiac Supplies, a gluten-free food retailer in Brisbane, sort of makes sense, seeing as what keeps happening is that people come for the info and prices, but then make their merry way down to their local supermarket to buy the same things. 'I've had a gutful of working and not getting paid. I'm not here to dispense a charity service for Coles and Woolworths to make more money. I can tell straight away who are the ratbags who are going to come in here and pick my brain and disappear.' said the owner. Sounds like a merry lass deserving of custom now doesn't she?

The question is though, in this day and age when you can buy mostly everything cheaper online if you're willing to wait the delivery time, would you pay into a shop to browse and get a feel of everything? Or would you tell them to stuff it?
