In case you missed it, Will Smith attended the Grand Prix over the weekend, and spent some time with Lewis Hamilton. The pair had some fun on Hamilton's Instagram account, with the 'Men in Black' actor seemingly taking the F1 racer's place for the big event. Smith said "it was his once in a lifetime opportunity" to take part.

The pair may have the plot of a movie in the making, as it all culminated with Smith being taken off the "track" in hand-cuffs.

After all of the confusion was over, Smith took to his own Instagram account to upload a heartfelt video about his son Trey. Smith captioned the video "It has not always been like this between Trey & I. We STRUGGLED FOR YEARS after my Divorce from his Mother. He felt betrayed & abandoned. It is a Wild Blessing to recover & restore a Loving Relationship with My Beautiful Son!"

Smith divorced Trey's mother Sheree Zampino in 1995, before he and Jada Pinkett Smith got married in 1997.

In the video, Smith said "we were hanging at the F1. And he just hit me with the [...] 'You know what dad? I just realised [...] you're not just my dad [...] I'm pretty sure you're my best friend'". Smith continued, exhaling and then saying "Yeah man. Prolly. Prolly."

Trey also posted the video onto his own instagram account.
