Despite contrary reports this morning (mainly eminating from The Metro Herald and another Irish entertainment[ish] website that shall remain nameless), Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith have insisted they are still very much together. Probably thanks to that (*sighs* allegedly) open marraige of theirs...

Yesterday, rumours surfaced that the power couple had called time on their 13-year marriage. But in a highly unusual step, they decided to speak out and set the record straight. "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumours circulating about our relationship are completely false," the couple said in a joint statement to People magazine. We are still together, and our marriage is intact." This is in complete contrast to what In Touch magazine have been spouting off about, saying they "will reveal all details" of the split "in their upcoming issue."

Meanwhile, the couple were spotted calling in to a Michael's crafts store to pick up canvases and paints for Jada, where an onlooker noted that they seemed happy. "They were laughing and being cutesy - they seemed to be getting along just fine," said the witness. "It sounds a cliché, but they were just like ordinary people. They seemed really nice." A second source added, "They seemed happy to me."

As if any further proof was required; Will's son Trey (never heard of him either) was also quick to take to Twitter and rubbish the reports: "Did #WillandJada split? No they did NOT split! False information... its not true RETWEET!!!... Everyone can think what they want... even if its not true."

So we can all rest easy. Just like we did when George Michaelrang The Sun back in March to say their claims of his split with Kenny Goss were "Bullsh*t"
