Brad Renfro was left out of the morbid montage at Sunday's Oscars, but he can rest easy knowing the living were also snubbed. Whoopi Goldberg was omitted from the "montage of magical moments" from the last 80 years, despite hosting a number of times, being the first female/African American to undertake the duty. Oh, she's also an Oscar winner herself. Seemingly she "fought back tears" when speaking of the nonevent on Monday's edition of The View *cue montage of magical clucking moments*. Of her upset, the producer of this year's ceremony, Gil Cates, said: "No harm was intended, and I feel very, very badly that she was left out. I'm going to call her and tell her that... It was an absolute oversight." See Whoopi? No harm done, you're just an oversight. Oh, and host Steve Martin also didn't quite make the montage but he's not crying (publicly) about it.
