We really can't imagine anything more worrying for nervous flyers, who are constantly listening and watching for any possible issues with the plane.
Jessica Baker was on an Air New Zealand flight when she looked across and saw the below.
That's a plane held together by some tape people. That is a shit your pants observation,
"‘I was quite terrified actually. I’m not a good flyer so it made me incredibly nervous seeing that.’" said Jessica, to Stuff NZ
Fair enough, like. We'd be the same. The airline did respond and said that while it looked like normal duct tape, it was actually a special kind used in aircraft all the time.
We hope they provided a few free alcoholic beverages to anyone that spotted it anyway.
