Every so often a Twitter thread pops up online which provides inspiration, tears, or some much-needed humour. Here's your Tuesday Twitter thread treat.

It's all thank to Weetabix, alongside Heinz baked beans.

Then again, it's also down to the vary many companies who got involved in the thread (or rather, their social media handlers).

That includes Lidl, Domino's, Nando's, the NHS, Specsavers, National Rail, KFC, Comedy Central, Virgin Atlantic, Tesco, Holland and Barrett, and more.

To explain what the heck we're talking about, it all started with a tweet from the official Weetabix account.

They wrote: "Why should bread have all the fun, when there's Weetabix? Serving up @HeinzUK Beanz on bix for breakfast with a twist. #ItHasToBeHeinz #HaveYouHadYourWeetabix"

Accompanying the tweet was a picture of Heinz baked beans on the fibrous breakfast cereal.

 

Thanks to good photography, they managed to almost make the alternative breakfast dish look appealing.

But the Twitterverse caught on and were having none of it.
