A reminder that trying to beat the barrier to make it across the train tracks is always a bad idea.
A woman in Florida was lucky to escape unharmed after a train smashed into her car, which she claims had stalled on the tracks, in Maitland, a suburb of Orange County Florida.
She managed to escape with just minor injuries as she scrambles from her car literally seconds before the vehicle is crunched up by the passing train, and thankfully no one in the accident was hurt seriously, including passengers on the train.
The driver of the car did receive some injuries from the debris, butt seeing as the whole thing was caught on camera, she was found to be guilty of causing the accident and was ticketed for negligent driving. Talk about adding insult to (non-life-threatening) injury...
