The pain of stepping on Lego is a rite of passage for anyone who comes to claim the cloak of the Dark Knight.
Luckily for Will Arnett, he's already a parent and has suffered the indignity and pain of treading barefoot on a Lego brick before so this is a walk in the park.
Plus the real pain that comes from walking on Lego is the surprise element, so this isn't exactly a challenge. But we appreciate the effort.
Arnett also used the film as a learning tool for his sons, sticking them (or rather their voices) into the film, starting off a Hollywood parent showdown.
'Lego Batman' is in Irish cinemas this Friday.
