Now there are some notable exceptions, such as Tom's foray into being a grown-up in Big and all those emails he sent to Meg Ryan, but if Tom Hanks' career defined the life of one person, that would be a pretty crazy life to have led. And if that life were a movie, we would definitely watch (although we imagine it would take quite a few sittings and plenty of days off).
