Arachnophobia is no joke, people.

It's said that arachnophobia effects at least 6% of the population and, clearly, WOWK13 Weatherman Bryan Hughes is in that grouping. During a pre-recorded broadcast, Hughes was reporting on - what else? - the weather when, in his own words, a giant spider walked directly in front of him.

So, what did he do? Take a look.

Bryan Hughes, we understand. Spiders are utterly terrifying and maintaining that level of composure is better than most of us. Obviously, we don't exactly know how big the spider was and it's safe to assume that the spider's motivations were ill because they're spiders and they kill without mercy or remorse.

Also, "Snakes Alive!" should come back into modern speech.
