For many a Dubliner, you know Christmas is well and truly on the horizon once the lights go up and Grafton St. and the normally busy thoroughfare goes from being dense to chock-a-block with shoppers.

Now an enterprising photographer by the name of Gareth Byrne has managed to capture a day in the life of Grafton St. at Christmas, in a stunning time-lapse looking down on the junction of Grafton St., South Anne St. and Harry St.

And it's never even empty, which is just mad.
