A kayaker helped in Namibia helped save the life of a young dolphin this week.

The dolphin was a juvenile Benguela dolphin, also known as a Heaviside's dolphin. It was scooped up by Naude Dreyer on Paaltjies Beach and deposited back into its natural home. The moment was captured by a companion of Dreyer's. The video currently has over 4.6m views on Facebook.

"On our way back from tour this morning, we came across this juvenile male Benguela Dolphin, still alive on the beach,"
he told Storyful. "It's not clear how he ended up on there in the first place."

Dreyer said that he was worried that the dolphin might not take to the water but as soon as the dolphin realised there he was he took off like a bullet.
