The Irish U-19 Womens side are headed to the semi-finals of the UEFA European Championships after a fantastic win over Sweden with this brilliant free-kick.

In case you've missed the news somehow, Ireland Women's U-19s side have been brushing aside the competition in the Euros with some amazing performances, including finishing their group with a 100% record, beating heavyweights England and Spain along the way.

Their final game, which got them to the semis, saw them fight back from an early goal against Sweden, something which has become a bit of a trait of this side, and the goals they scored were pretty tasty too. The first, to draw level after conceding, was a brilliant looped header from Savannah McCarthy beat Zecira Musovic in the Swedish goal.

The winner, however, was a piece of absolute brilliance from Megan Connolly who, in the 80th minute, curled a superb free kick into the top corner to give her side the win. All the goals, including Sweden's opener, are in the video below.

We're all rooting for the Girls in Green as they head to the semi-finals to take on the Netherlands this Thursday. #COYGIG
