New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is an incredibly talented player, and has been having a very strong first season in the NFL.

In that time, we've seen several clips of him in his pre-game drills catching the ball one-handed in spectacular fashion, but last night in a game against the Cowboys, he proved that he could do it during the game too.

It should be noted that there is also a flag thrown on this play for pass interference, which means that he was fouled in the process of hauling this in, which makes it even more jaw-dropping.

Other stars, not just around the NFL but from different sports altogether, acknowledged that what they'd seen was something special, but it unfortunately didn't help the Giants get a win, as they narrowly lost out to Dallas 28-31.  

When you look at it from this angle, you get an even better appreciation of just how difficult a catch it was, given that it looks like he made it with three fingers.

It's already being referred to as the greatest catch ever and the play of the year, but Beckham (who was taken off injured later in the game) was dismissive of that: ""I hope it's not the greatest catch of all time. I hope I can make more". So do we...
